Our client owned an outdated contemporary home with garage apartment needing full renovation. The property was gorgeous and very private. Within a few minutes of the Town, yet feeling so secluded, the property deserved a better looking home and garage. We decided to use the “bones” of the house and garage but change the roof line, exterior finishes, windows and doors and take on a shingle style home that looks like it has always been there. The garage roof was redesigned within the same style as the house. We added a long porch along the entire front of the house wrapping around to the south toward the garage. The interior of the house was fully renovated along with the garage apartment’s.
